About us!

Our Story

   Growing up, Lucas would rake beaches for some extra spending money. As he grew up he found a passion for plant cultivation. The science behind it, the innovation in the industry, the diversity in the field and the feeling of watching something you nurture, grow. He attempted college for a year, studying plant biology. He loved the related classes but loathed all the of irrelevant BS they force you to go through. One day his Greenhouse Management professor pulled him aside and said "I can tell you love this subject, but don't thrive in a school environment. I am going to let you in on a little secret: you do not need to go to school to become an expert in this field."

   So here we are now. Self taught and working on building a sustainable farm. No one in his family had farmed before, so he had to learn everything he knows on his own. As he was working on building his dream, he met the love of his life, Sidney. She encouraged him to keep building his farm. Sidney dropped everything she knew. Moved out of the city to the country to live with Lucas. She has been right by his side, supporting him when times were really tough. Lucas cites her as his motivation to grow. He knew he needed to diversify to support their little family. 

   That's when his life came full circle. He diversified into beach care, which lead to lawn care, which lead to landscaping, and property management. Now Fiddlehead Farms has helped dozens of customers take the stress of keeping their homes beautiful, all the while building something totally unique.
